The United Way of Metro Oklahoma City began in 1924, the same year
Clifford Frates created our company. From their inceptions, C.L. Frates
and Company and the United Way (originally called the Community Chest)
would form a bond that has endured and today, after more than 75 years,
continues to flourish. Employees and members of the Frates' family
have served in leadership roles with the United Way. In
addition to their generous annual contributions, employees donate their
time and energy to help United Way agency partners during the Day of
Caring. http://www.unitedwayokc.org/
