Legal Division

C.L. Frates and Company's Legal Division provides regulatory compliance and governmental relations services for insurers, insurance agencies, third party administrators and reinsurance intermediaries covering the insurance laws of all 50 states and foreign jurisdictions. The division's staff includes an attorney, a paralegal, a product development manager, a statistician and support personnel.  They are knowledgeable and experienced in legal requirements for traditional insurance, self insurance and captive insurance programs and assist Frates' customers in a myriad of dealings with insurance regulators.

The Legal Division is headed by Lisa G. Bays, Vice President and General Counsel.  Prior to joining C.L. Frates and Company, Ms. Bays served as an Assistant Attorney General for Oklahoma and counsel for the Oklahoma Insurance Department and Mid-Continent Life Insurance Company.
